ASUS unveils Fonepad 7, a phone-tablet hybrid

ASUS unveiled its new tablet that can be a smartphone as well and will be released in two colors, white and black. This device features a 7 inch screen, and ASUS claims that it combines all the best elements of the two worlds.

Fonepad's screen is IPS technology with a resolution of 1280 × 800 pixels, and the tablet is equipped with double front speakers with SonicMaster technology and an Intel processor. The rear camera is 5 MP with full HD video support,it will include a 1GB RAM and the memory can be expanded up to 64MB.

One of the highlights of this year's Computex 2013 was the ASUS FonePad Note  FHD 6, an addition  to the phablets category. It has 6 inches LCD IPS + display with FHD 1920 × 1080 pixels resolution and pixel density of 367 ppi. It incorporates a dual-core Intel Atom Z2560 processor clocked at 1.6GHz, 2GB memory RAM  and runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Additionally, it includes a 8GB or 16GB of internal storage plus a microSD card slot, 3G capabilities (but not 4G) a front-facing 1.2-megapixel camera and 8-megapixel rear-facing camera. The price for this phablet has not been revealed yet.

ASUS MeMO Pad Smart 10 " 2, Specifications

Reportamanian.blogspot.com has proprietary information about the next model MeMO Pad Smart 10 "2 (ME302KL) developed by ASUS and is expected to be announced this summer. The new tablet which is placed in mid-range price category with 10.1 inches screen resolution Full HD, quad-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro 1.5GHz, RAM 1GB memory and runs Android Jelly Bean.

This model is a great upgrade (plus 4G / LTE) in relation to the current MeMO Pad 10 and is approaching the technical characteristics of its flagship Transformer Pad Infinity but at a price that is expected to be lower.
